Other Items:
The new 2009 TEHA Directory is now available on-line at www.troyestates.com. In order to secure the information in the directory, a resident must request the password from the Website. The password will be sent to the resident in an e-mail. The directory can then be printed out from the site.
In an effort to collect as many TEHA e-mail addresses as possible, a form will be mailed to residents whose e-mail addresses are not on file. TEHA hopes to become more paperless and more efficient for communication purposes.
The $3,500 TEHA has been paying for annual lawn service for easement areas has been discontinued.
The President will investigate/clarify the sub insurance issue; the insurance currently covers the sub’s common areas and the officers. Other subs carry insurance, but cost is an issue.
Webmaster Cristian Teodoridis requested input/suggestions from residents regarding improvements/additions for our TEHA website.
The Annual Ice Cream Social was supported and will be continued (September).
Dues collection will begin from now on in JANUARY of each year for the usual $40. Sign reminders will be posted. Dues can be sent to TEHA - 1864 Pelican Ct.
A committee has been formed to investigate low maintenance landscaping for the sub’s 2 entranceways on Condor/Martin. Committee members Nicole and Roland Pezold and Eva Lacki will study feasibility of watering systems and low maintenance shrubs and plants. President Carol Kohut volunteered to contact a lawn company that will maintain cutting, edging, and mulch placement (each spring) for the 2 entranceways.
A proposal was made to re-institute the TEHA Annual Picnic at Bemis during the summer, some time during the 1st week of June. Chris Hagey and Karen Best will chair this committee.
The up-coming TEHA Annual Halloween Parade will take place at 4:30 PM on October 31 at the Lark/Chatham island and end with pizza refreshments. Donations are welcome!
The TEHA Secretary position has been filled by Bernie Lourim, our sub’s TROY SCHOOL BOARD candidate. Bernie will assume the officer position after the Nov. 3 election.
Todd Kaluzny volunteered to take over the duties of Communication Director from Carol Kohut (TEHA Pres.). Todd will be producing the quarterly TEHA newsletters.
TEHA V-Pres. position is still open.
One new link to the TEHA website is the “Best Bets” link. This is a listing of good service providers with appropriate contact information.
TEHA garage sale (spring) will be continued.
Minutes submitted by Roland Pezold.
